By Age Group
Little kids (1–5)
Beach time, sand toys, creek wading (held hands), short flat strolls, bug-and-firefly hunting, “helping” fish, and the kids’ craft packet.
Kids (6–12)
Bank fishing, tandem kayaking, beginner bike trails, the short bluff hikes, the scavenger hunt, and evening naturalist programs.
Teens & adults
The mountain-bike trails (Blackhawk Point, Old Schoolhouse), longer hikes to Frenchman’s Bluff, solo paddling, river floats, and early/late fishing.
Grandparents & take-it-easy folks
Shoreline fishing from a chair, the Lakeside stroll, wildlife watching from camp, beach supervising, and a sunset by the lake.
