Morning — Repeat a Favorite

By now everyone has a “best part.” Do it again:

  • Another lake paddle or a final bike lap.
  • Fishing for the one that got away.
  • An easy hike or creek session for the kids.

Midday — Beach & Lunch

  • One more beach session; lunch-meat sandwiches in the shade.
  • Start drying and packing non-essential gear (bikes you’re done with, extra chairs) so tomorrow’s exit is quick.

Afternoon — Tidy & Chill

  • Rinse and dry kayaks, PFDs, water shoes, swimsuits (pack them dry-ish).
  • Consolidate coolers; plan to cook down what’s left tonight.

Evening — Use-It-Up Grill Night

  • Dinner: Grill-Out (Zuelke / Younger Smiths host) — brats, remaining chicken, dehydrated mashed potatoes, green beans, foil packets, finish the watermelon.
  • Last big campfire: extra s’mores, a story or two, a thank-you to the cooks.
  • A final stargaze before quiet hours.

Pack the “done” stuff tonight. A little teardown now makes a calm departure tomorrow—no frantic 7 a.m. scramble.
